Open about how it works
Scores come from USDA Pesticide Data Program testing of produce sold in U.S. stores, with the test years shown on every score. Limits are legal and trade thresholds: a residue above another country’s limit isn’t a statement that a food is unsafe. Peel gives no medical advice, has no ads, and brands can’t pay to change a score.
